There are some perks about blogging that I have always thought were super cool- giveaways, blogger meetups, blogging conferences, and free products to review. I'm excited to say I feel like a legit blogger today because I get to do the latter--
I emailed Sunland Peanut Butter Co because I'd heard good things about their awesome sounding Peanut Butter, and they offered to send me 3(!) jars of their peanut butter to review for the blog.
I practically squealed with delight when I got the response. 3 jars of peanut butter? That may actually last a week or so!
So what flavors did I pick?
Dark Chocolate (duh)
Banana (!)
Cherry Vanilla
The other flavors available include Plain, Caramel, Crunchy Chipotle Chile, Thai Ginger and Red Pepper, and Raspberry.
So while I may be a small fries blogger- I'm psyched that Sunland values internet feedback for their product. Oh the power of the health food (PB loving) blogger :-)
In honor of all things peanut butter (and the intense craving that came today), I made some no-bake PB cookies.
No Bake Peanut Butter Flax Cookies
Raw, no bake, and the perfect amount of sweet. Great for a breakfast adjunct or dessert!
Ingredients
10 pitted dates, chopped
1/4 cup raisins
1/8 cup ground flaxseed
pinch cinnamon
1/4 cup natural peanut butter
1/8 cup peanuts
Directions:
1. Roughly chop dates.
2. Add all ingredients to blender/food processor.
3. Pulse until a paste forms.
4. Mold mix into cookie shapes or balls. Garnish w/ chocolate chips.
I can't wait to recreate these with banana (or dark chocolate) peanut butter!
Have you ever reviewed company products? What flavor PB would you pick from Sunland?
