Most runners have their favorite socks, shoes, shorts and fuel sources. Along with all of those things I also have my favorite hair ties/ponytail holders. When I started running I was constantly having to tighten my ponytail because the holder was always slipping.
I was pretty frustrated with the whole thing until I ran across the Goody StayPut elastic ponytail holders. These have raised ridges that keep them from sliding out of your hair. They work GREAT! I no longer have to retie my ponytail as I'm running. One of the other things I love about them is that while those grippers keep the holder from slipping they DON'T tear my hair.
