In honor of my 1 year anniversary of healthy living, and in celebration of signing up for my first 1/2 marathon (feb 21) I am hosting another giveaway. But first you'll have to read through a short review. :)
The lovely people at OutsidePr were kind enough to send me a GoLite tote to try out and review.
This bag is great! It's got tons of pockets, inside and out,to hold anything from a water bottle to baby wipes (yeah... I have a 2 year old). The bottom and sides are padded so you can carry your laptop as well. This is the perfect gym bag. Its durable, and holds a lot. Put your shoes/clothes/water bottle in it and leave it in your car so you're always prepared. You can check out their other performance apparel by clicking HERE. I no longer have to carry around two bags, one for me and one for my toddler, I was able to consolidate it all into this one bag. The wide straps make it comfortable even when carrying that heavy load. I'd like to thank OutsidePR again for sending this to me.
And now, on to the giveaway-
One thing I struggled with when I started running was where to put my ipod. I tried everything from the armbands that hold it, to shirts with media pockets, to just carrying it in my hand. None of those options were comfortable. Then I came across sport belts by iFitness. They are small little waist packs that hold your phone/chapstick/GU/ID. Think... .fanny pack... but cooler :). Ok, thats probably not a good thing to compare them to. These are sleek and small. Here is a stock photo from their site. This is the double pouch, they also have singles and minis.
I was excited to try this out and hopefully solve my ipod problem. Thursdays 5 mile run gave me the perfect opportunity. I loaded it up with my ipod and chapstick and set off.
I had to adjust the tightness a few times, but once I got it right the belt stayed in place. I found it comfortable and easy to use. As you can see in the below photo it has reflective tabs on each end which is a great safety feature. This is definitely a keeper for me.
You don't have to be a runner to use this great product. Anyone that is out walking/riding/running around can benefit from having a place to put their stuff.
Uri at iFitness was kind enough to not only give me products to try, but is also offering you the opportunity to try them out.
The contest runs until 11:59PM EST January 17th. It is open to US residents. The winner will be able to choose the product and color of their choice from their site.Make sure your email address is either listed on your blog, or is in your comment entry.
