Chipped and Jipped

Well, it didn't happen.

At least we looked cute!

Hubby didn't whip me in the face with his terrible towel

And everyone partook in this massive pizza and wings. I just housed the crust (cuz everyone knows that's the best part anyway). And we only broke 3 glasses and spilled 5 drinks. Win.

So disappointed that Glee didn't come when it was supposed to last night. Pittsburgh news decided to cover the non-riots in the Burgh, and this lady had to get up early. Mr Tivo didn't record it either cuz it wasn't at the scheduled time. DVR FAIL.

Today I decided to share a super easy recipe that will be awesome for your next party (or a Friday night on the couch).
Easy Tortilla Chips

Ingredients:
3 whole wheat/multigrain tortillas (I used low-carb)
3 TBSP canola oil (or other oil)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 F. Grease/spray baking pan.
2. Stack tortillas on top of each other.
3. Mix oil, garlic, onion, and salt in a small bowl. Brush mixture onto both sides of each tortilla.
4. Using a knife or pizza cutter, slice into 8 triangles each.
5. Spread triangles onto baking sheet.

6. Bake at 400F for 6-7 mins. Be careful because they will burn if they're in too long.

These are super easy and delicious! Feel free to play around with flavors (I've done lime and sea salt before)- I'd love to see someone make this into homemade Doritos! Speaking of Doritos- are the sales going down or what? How many Doritos commercials did you see last night??

What's your favorite kind of chip? Your favorite Super Bowl commercial?
