I do a lot of giveaways simply because I think they're fun and everyone loves free stuff. Today's giveaway from The Silver Maple however is something very special to me.
A few months back I received an email from a reader named Jacquelyn. She was so sweet, telling me about how much she loved my blog and then went on to say she had been "inspired" to make me a necklace that encompasses who I am as a wife,mother and runner.
I am always touched by readers that take the time to email me and let me know they enjoy my blog, and I was so grateful for the necklace offer. Basically I was blown away by her kind words and generosity.
After exchanging a few emails I received this necklace with my sons name, my wedding date and the word "run":
I cannot express how much I love this necklace. In fact, my husband has threatened to get rid of all of the necklaces he has bought me in the past simply because I now only wear this one. Those three things listed on the tags are such an important part of my life, I cherish the opportunity to show that each and every day.
