When I first started running I was excited to get into a pair of “real” running shoes. I got fitted at a store, put some miles on another brand shoe and ended up unhappy. The next time around I did my research online, hung out and picked peoples brains in running stores, and tried to look beyond bells and whistles and instead looked at what brands people were buying their third and forth pair of. Time and time again I was pointed in the direction of Brooks.. They inspire brand loyalty more than any company I’ve come across. So I took the plunge and bought my first pair.
Fast forward to today and I’m on my 6th pair of Brooks. I’ve fallen in LOVE with their Ghost 3s. In fact, I’ve pretty much been stock piling them. Side note: if you’re a Ghost 3 lover like me, you should check them out on OnlineShoes.com, they are on sale right now!
While they’ve been my ‘workhorse’ shoe, I’ll admit I cheated on Brooks with another brand for my speedy shoes. Recently, OnlineShoes.com presented me with an opportunity to test out the Brooks T7 Racers.
These shoes are made for speed. They have an air-mesh upper which makes them cool, and the lacing is off set to anatomically fit your foot. Brooks put a lot of thought into only putting material where absolutely necessary,keeping them as light as possible.
I will have a full review on them later this month, but lets just say they are LIGHT and they make me SPEEDY. Feel free to be skeptical about that last statement, but I consistently run faster in these shoes.
